Ocean Waves and Riverdance

This past Sunday, the three of us headed down to Sandestin, Florida, for a most delightful (although short) vacation.  It was very refreshing...just what each of us needed.  We were just there two nights, but we were able to enjoy the conveniences of the resort and the beauty of the emerald water and white sands.  We are most grateful to Martha Junkin, a dear church member at Circlewood, that made these few days possible.  Thank you, Martha!  We are so thankful for your gift!

Also, David and I were recently able to see Riverdance live in Birmingham.  We have made it a tradition to go see this show at some point during each pregnancy.  (Our first viewing was in Louisville, KY.)  I love Riverdance!  My husband knows that ever since I saw it done at Disney World once, I have wanted to learn to do this type of dance and play the violin simultaneously.  I know that sounds difficult - I'm sure it is! But they did it at Disney World! (Well, it is a place of magic!)  I am doing nothing to work towards achieving that goal, but maybe it will come to reality one day.  I love watching this type of dance, as well as listening to the Celtic music, the sound of the unique instrument combinations, and the purity of the voices that were also a part of this fantastic production.  Thank you, David, for such a delightful date!

Hi David
Great to see pictures of your family. We were hoping to meet everyone in person, but I guess that will be on hold for a while. What a beautiful beach it looks like you guys had a blast. God bless.

Lori,
Great to hear from you and JD! We will be praying for you guys as you begin the long process. OF course we are praying that Mporokoso is what the Lord will lay on your hearts! Tell JD that I (david) will be calling him soon. We need to finish our conversation from the other day.

Diebel Crew,
So great to hear from you guys! We too miss the fellowship from our "Irish" friends. We pray that the Lord would continue to increase your love for Him and influence there on the island. John David too misses his friend Cailyn. We often mention her name when we read him "Most of all Jesus loves you" book by Noel Piper. On the page where it says, "And your friends love you" we insert some of John David's friends and Cailyn is one we mention. He is doing so well; it would be neat to see him interact with her again. Maybe in the future! Eat a shepherds pie for me (David) today. :)

The Schaefers!!
Oh it was so wonderful to hear from you guys. It is a joy to know that you are still serving faithfully in Mbala! I wish I could see your crew again. I am sure they have all grown so much. Do you still just have the three kidos??
Continue to serve well there in Zambia!

I'm so glad you guys had such a wonderful vacation in Florida! If you ever want to go back, my uncle or his church (he's been their pastor for 20 years now) would host you guys in a heartbeat! He's in Jupiter, Florida and it is absolutely beautiful there.
Or my grandparents would take you in. They are the sweetest people in the world and they live near Cocoa Beach and Kennedy Space Center.
And if you would like to come to the Middle East, I will find a place for you guys!

I love you guys!

David,

I'm glad I found your blog. It is good to see that you are still walking with the King. Enjoy your kids while they are small - they grow far too quick.

Do you ever hear from Charles?
