Claire is so much like my husband, and I'm so glad!

Along with many other similarities, she is very expressive like her Daddy.

Here are a few "Claire faces" that were captured that day.

And I hope the bib doesn't gross you out too badly.

She enjoyed her lunch! :)

But from the looks of it, I can not remember what she ate!

Claire had to change clothes mid-party.

she had a major spit-up episode, which hasn't happened since the infant reflux days.

i guess it was too much excitement and no nap to speak of . . .

We love you so much, and we praise the Lord 

for the precious gift you are to our family.

It's been a wonderful year!

One Year Old Perks

By law, when you meet specific age/weight requirements,

you are granted some pretty coveted privileges.

One of those is exchanging a rear-facing car seat 

for one that faces forward.

David surprised us today by making the switch.

Claire sure enjoyed the view!

Just one more reminder that my girl is growing so quickly.

And it's even more incentive to make sweet memories along the way. 

Eleven Months

We had a really fun day today celebrating baby Claire.

She and the boys had a great time at the pool.

I was thankful for some sweet cuddle time with her this morning,

thinking back to where I was 11 months ago today.  

Thank you, Lord, for the gift of our little girl.

It's hard to believe she's been with us for almost a year. 

Where does the time go?

She's loving life, and we sure are enjoying our fun, growing girl.
