Scripture Memory Monday

Okay, so maybe I was a little too ambitious with last week's Scripture memory.  Considering the length of the passage and the busyness of the month of May, I may have bitten off a bit more than I could really chew.  Therefore, I will keep meditating on the same verses from Hebrews this week.  Maybe by next Monday it will be stored in my heart and mind.

But that's the great thing about Scripture memory.  It's not an "all or nothing" type discipline.  If we are consistent to take small steps, the Lord will bless our efforts and indeed change our hearts by His Word.

So, happy hiding in your heart!  We will surely fall if we don't.  "I have hidden Your Word in my heart, that I might not sin against You" (Psalm 119: 11).

"Long ago, at many times and in many ways, God spoke to our fathers by the prophets, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed  the heir of all things, through whom also he created  the world. He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power.  After making purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, having become as much superior to angels as the name he has inherited is more excellent than theirs."  (Hebrews 1:1-4, ESV)

Katie - glad to see you need another week for these verses, too! I definitely was too ambitious for such a busy week! :)
