Scripture Memory Monday

"The secret things belong to the LORD our God,
but the things that are revealed belong to us
and to our children forever,
that we may do all the words of this law."
Deuteronomy 29:29 (ESV)

And if you happen to have been following along with
memorizing these particular verses, this week makes verse #20!
Praise the Lord for His Word - the ammunition He gives us to fight
our daily enemy . . . who, on the final Day, will be no more!

Hey Katie! :) I am so excited at how much of God's word we've hidden in our hearts so far! This week I am meditating on Psalm 19:14 -

"Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O LORD, my rock and my redeemer."

I know that there are so many times when what comes out of my mouth or is in my heart is not pleasing to God. I am thankful that He is so merciful in forgiving me, and my prayer is that all that I think and say will be pleasing and acceptable in His sight!

Hope you have a great week! Love you much! :)

Melanie ~ Once again, thank you so much for your most encouraging words. I read your comment previously, but re-reading it today has blessed my heart again. Praise the Lord that He does not call us to walk the narrow road without fellow brothers and sisters to encourage us. Thank you for being just that to me, my sister. You being on board memorizing each week is a great source of accountability for me. Thanks so much for that too!
